I haven't posted here yet, but I did read everything. I support, at least for the time being. Everyone else has already explained why. I would like to make one thing clear that I think some people might not understand (correct me if I'm wrong):I am not trying to be negative here or anything, but I don't really understand what you are saying.
This system would not allow someone to share a project to only a few select people (which might result in bad stuff), it only lets you take already shared projects and let certain select people know about it.
“…not allow someone to share a project to only a few select people…”
&
“…only lets you take already shared projects and let certain select people know about it”
Wouldn't the two contradict each other?

Sorry. I mean that you can't share a project (the normal way) to a few people who would then be the only ones who could see it.

But then again I agree with some of the other no supporters.
So it's gonna have to be…
NO SUPPORT, studios, studios, and forget sharing it, this kind of seems like social media influencing
IM SORRY I HAVE BETRAYED YOU

See? Right there. You're misunderstanding this. This doesn't let you share a project the normal way to only a few specific people who are the only ones who can see it. That, of course, would be against Creative Commons. This system merely lets you take an already shared project which everybody can already see and “share” it with a few specific people. It's like saying, “Hey (everybody in my group), check out this cool project I found!” Thus, you “share” it with everyone in your group. If that makes sense. The Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic License, which every project in Scratch is under, says you have to share with everybody.Creative commons…?Come again?

No support, Scratch is not a social media site.
1) If you want to receive notifications from people just follow them. Also I don't see the point of a studio without any projects.
2)If you want to receive notifications about what people like and want to share- this is the same as following them and then loving or favouriting the project.
Uh… Technically, it is. Its just a rare safer ones, designed to make project games, animations, and to just share stuff.
But comments are Social media like, sharing animations too, and user accounts… I have to say it kinda is.
Do you mean just share privately with several viewers? Or just send a notification?
If it is this ^^^^, For this ^^^^ Im fine with.
I have a question:
Can it be viewed by moderators?

*No. It's kind of like YouTube's sharing system. You can only share public (already shared) videos to other people. As far as I know, you can't privately share a video with specific viewers. (see below)
**Along with only sharing already shared projects, yes. Sharing (the type I'm suggesting in this thread) a project sends a notification to all listed recipients in listed groups. (see groups)

In bold, I'm a bit. confused. Google+ lets you share videos privately.
So let me get this straight. You share with the public, but you can put a notification to specific people with a little comment? I get it…

ah, sort of like popularizing a project within a certain social group? everyone outside the circle would be able to see it, right? so it would just be, like, mentioning the project.See? Right there. In other words, it's like recommending a project to specific people.
Take an example video, like ♪Revenge♫ for example.*No. It's kind of like YouTube's sharing system. You can only share public (already shared) videos to other people. As far as I know, you can't privately share a video with specific viewers. (see below)

It's already shared to the public, because that's the only way to share a video on YouTube (right?).
(In the original suggestion, I had thought of it like Google+, because it's the thing I use to share videos to my circles or others.
But now I remember that G+ wasn't the only button in the row of buttons, so I removed a large portion of the relevance to G+.)
Then, after watching the video, at the share tab under the video, you press G+ and choose who you want to share the video to (in this case: specific followers, group members, or groups) and they will receive a notification in their G+ account.
Also in this case, you can't add a small comment for “safety” purposes. I have given the one example of why.

I would really like people who have already seen the original post to rethink their opinion from a different standpoint because I have clarified a whole lot of stuff.
