I've never heard this complaint before. Personally, I don't like or dislike his model. It's fine.

Full agree. There is nothing wrong with that model. It serves gameplay and cutscenes flawlessly. And from a technical standpoint, the Unleashed model is the most hardware-demanding model, with 18K tris.

It's not mid, but certainly not the best, either. Its gameplay is really good, the graphics still hold up (assuming you're playing on Dolphin at HD), the soundtrack is good (as always) but the story is practically nonexistent and most of the levels are filler. I'd prefer having 2/3 long stages than 6 short stages (2 of which reuse level design from previous acts).
