An IP mute sounds traumatizing. Imagine if you got your home router blocked from sharing projects.

But it could also be used for MASS TROLLING by blocking a school's IP.

Fun fact: according to an expert network technician (my dad), scratch won’t block school IPs lightly. They know it belongs to a school district (and exactly which one and which school) and is registered with the government.


They could even track down which classroom you were making comments from.

So it’s unlikely that they would block an entire school or school district.
