How to "remix" your own project
But what is Remixing?
To know how to self-remix, we need to know what is remixing. As we know on the Community guidelines, “Remixing is when you build upon someone else’s projects, code, ideas, images, or anything else they share on Scratch to make your own unique creation.”
Just go on the TOP LEFT in your project and then click EDIT. Finally click SAVE AND CREATE A COPY. Simple. This is it.
I hope you learned something.

This would not belong in the “New Scratchers” forum. This would probably belong in the “Show and Tell” category.
Anyway, there is another way to remix your own project so that it gives “credit” on the project page. You can use two tabs or windows and have a temporary alt account to trick Scratch into thinking you are remixing your project from the same account.

It's really nice that you want to help out with a guide! However, we have a number of them in the forums already and we don't have a good way to showcase any more. If you want to make a guide in a Scratch project, that would be fine. You could advertise it in the “Show and Tell” section too.
There are lots of other ways to help out in the forums too. Helpful Scratchers are always welcome in the “Questions About Scratch”, “Help With Scripts”, “Requests” and other sections. Just look around and ask questions
