okay theory
Winton can see the future
Bluey and Mackenzie end up getting married
that's their kid

the kid has a sort of blend between Bluey and Mackenzie's coloring, plus a flopped over ear like Mackenzie has, but their fur pattern is closer to Bluey's.

ngl I thought the kid was Muffin for a hot second before realizing this was the future and Muffin would be an adult too

Or maybe it's Bingo's adopted child. I vote for that.

I mean maybe? ngl given that apparently Bingo was already there when Bluey got there it would lowkey make more sense for the child to be Bingo's kid who snuck around to the front of the house than Bluey's kid who waited until their mom had gone inside before ringing the doorbell to attack Bandit, but at the same time the ear just got me so I feel like it's probably Bluey and Mackenzie's kid.

I'm not trying to crush any hopes here but,

it looks a bit like Socks. That could be a clue. (Maybe Bluey's just taking her newest cousin to her parents' house.)

Yeah, you're right. the way I see it, I can see two options:
  1. Mackenzie: This is just most popular, but I prefer the next one. The clue here is the tufts - Mackenzie has tufts.
  2. Jean-Luc: The kid has colours from Bluey and Jean-Luc's colour schemes. This isn't true for Mackenzie, but the kid has tufts, which Jean-Luc doesn't.
We know she meets Jean-Luc years later (the end of Camping) so why can't that be a possibility?

Lets think about this…
what color is mackenzie's fur?

so if it's bluey and mackenzie's child, the fur color would mix, causing a darker blue, right?

By that logic, Bluey and Bingo would end up being burnt sienna. Same with Muffin and Socks, they would be a light blue. But Bandit's family is just confusing. With this logic, he'd just be a dull blue with hints of brown. But he has siblings. Stripe takes after Chris, but does take the brown highlights. Brown is a dominant eye gene, so why can't that apply here? This shows there's some passing of genes, but never do the two genes mix as far as I'm aware. And if they do, it's between two extremely similar colours that just make a middle ground of the two. When the colour palette is distant enough, they don't mix.

Plus, Mackenzie has no interest in Bluey, nor does Bluey. It's explicitly shown that they don't really like each other too much, but will still play together. They're friends, but not best friends. Plus, it's a childhood friendship. It's unlikely it'd turn into an adulthood relationship. However, we know that Jean-Luc and Bluey see each other years later, maybe when she's 15-16, and foreign languages are a part of most curriculums. Bluey isn't home-schooled, so why can't she learn French at school, and be able to talk somewhat to Jean-Luc, and keep meeting each other when they are old enough to consider a relationship seriously? I'm grasping straws here, but there's more evidence than the Mackenzie theory.

Therefore, all the evidence points to it being Jean-Luc and Bluey's child, not Bluey and Mackenzie's child. I mean, she might just meet someone ten years later and marry them, so they could be Bluey and who-know's child. But the Jean-Luc theory has more going for it than the Mackenzie one, the evidence is just concentrated in one episode, not many like the Mackenzie theory. Not meaning to bash though, they could throw a curveball and say it is Mackenzie and Bluey's child. But to me? I think Bluey and Jean-Luc is a better choice for the creators.

I mean, Jean Luc did say a word in English, I'm assuming he learned it.

I personally lean towards bluey and Mackenzie, I just think it makes more sense, but yeah, you are right about them hating bluey x Mackenzie.

We're not really shipping, (because personally I don't ship any of them anyway) but we're just analysing who the kid might belong to.
