For Finley's riddle, the first number is 3/7. There are 7 letters in chicken, as Dawn said. The first three letters are ‘Chi’ If we use the same logic for Cat and Goat, we get ‘Chicago’!!!
Ohh smart!! I'll go reply to Finley!

Maia's riddle is “Tool of thief, toy of queen. Always used to be unseen. Sign of joy, sign of sorrow. Giving all likeness borrowed. What am I?”

I honestly have no idea what the answer could be tbh. Maybe like a disguise? I'm not sure.

I was thinking a jester or a mask.

ooh mask makes sense!! thieves using it, maybe queens as in a masquerade? and then joy/sorrow like the classical masks symbolizing theatre

Reposting again, I think it's 3 Billy goats gruff troll, but part of me feels like it's not the correct answer. Check if it's the troll first, then figure out what the answer is.

I compiled everyone's riddles/possible answers because I thought it could be helpful (and I like organizing information asdfasfd)

So far Finley, Mouse, Kiara, Maia, Pepper and Zy's riddles have been solved, and they have agreed to give information.

@essayist

Riddle:
what is 3/7 chicken, 2/3 cat, and 2/4 goat?

Using the first 3, 2, and 2 letters of chicken, cat, and goat respectively, the word “Chicago” is formed.

Finley confirmed this as the correct answer, and will give us information.

@Strawberry-Lemon

Kiara's riddle: My riddle is a rather simple one, though you might have to pull a dictionary off your… bookshelf to get the answer: What word in English has three consecutive double letters? The fact that bookshelf is preceded by an ellipsis may imply something.

bookkeeper

Kiara confirmed this as the correct answer, and will give us information.

@wolfiebear-
Maia's riddle is “Tool of thief, toy of queen. Always used to be unseen. Sign of joy, sign of sorrow. Giving all likeness borrowed. What am I?”

Thought to be Mask, because thieves using them, maybe queens as in a masquerade? and then joy/sorrow like the classical masks symbolizing theatre

Maia confirmed this as the correct answer, and will give us information.

@ChueyTheCat

Chuey's riddle: “To go over my bridge you must first answer my riddle, to avoid finding yourself being dumped off the middle. If you solve my rhyme you're fine, unless you're a goat–and if that's true, well, I hope you can float…”

Possibly the troll in the Billy goats gruff

Has yet to be asked if the answer is troll…

@yumetopia

Yume's riddle: the sci-fi time machine is a portal to different past swc sessions. yume led her first cabin on the 20th swc session. however, she really first found out about the camp all the way back in march of 2020. so here’s the question- if you were to number each session, which would mar ‘20 be?

March 2020 was 9th session of swc

Hasn't been asked if this is the answer yet…

@pepper-and-a-pencil
pepper's riddle: ‘a cowboy rode into town on tuesday and left three days later on tuesday, how did he do it?’

the horse's name is tuesday

Pepper confirmed this as the correct answer, and will give us information.

@-BookDragon-

Mouse's riddle: The poor have me. The rich need me. If you eat me, you die. What am I?

The poor have nothing, the rich need nothing, and if you eat nothing, you die.

Mouse confirmed this as the correct answer, and will give us information.

@Zyzeryko

Zy's riddle: What goes up, but at the same time goes down? Up toward the sky, and back toward the ground. Its present tense and past tense too, come for a ride, just me and you.

Present and past tense: seesaw! There's a see, present tense, and a saw, past tense!

Confirmed that the correct answer is Seesaw, and will give us the information
