I want specific games to be ported on scratch, but nobody ever knows how to do it!

I don't think it's possible to directly port games to scratch, but there are a ton of recreations of popular games you can check out

technically it is if the game is simple enough

it may actually be possible. In the sense of porting, rather than recreating.

you'd have to pull a tim mccool and edit the .json of the project, and you'd have to figure out how scratch reads the project .json and then translate a game file to that. also you'd have to find a game with a small enough file size to port. So it would work but it'd be a hassle, and probably not worth the effort.

the game i want ported to scratch is Sonic Mania, but I have no clue how to port it lol

Maybe look up a tutorial?
