Obsolete and Peculiar Media Formats

In a similar vain to flexidiscs, we have ribs recordings.
They were records that were made using discarded X-ray films. Basically they were flexidiscs but worse in quality.

“Scratch friendly” because that's a fantasy martial arts move the movie is named after, which paralyzes the opponent and eventually transports it into the afterlife because it fills up its head with catsup.

…but used to offer great music in a country that was cut off to the rest of the world.

.MPO files are interresting. They were used to make stereoscopic images on the 3DS system consoles, and the way they work is like a ton of tiny 3D goggles stacked side to side.

Remember when you had to use teleprinters and when the motors were out of tune, it led to an alphabet spaghetti on the reciever's side?

Discuss Scratch
