I heard scratchers can have signatures! I became a scratcher recently, and I feel i'll be using the forums a lot, how do I get one?

I've seen a ton of cool signatures, and want one for myself, but I have no idea how! (Also, do New Scratchers have to be at least 2 weeks old to become a scratcher? I have an alt that is a bit more active, and I'd like to know.)

You can get a sig by

1. Go to the Discuss Home page by pressing “Discuss” on the top of the Scratch-Bar.
2. Scroll to the bottom most of the page, and you will see a button saying “change your signature.” Click it.
3. Create your sig.

Yep, and you can put images there but they must be W629px by H180px. Create your image, then upload it to a image host, and then go to your signature edit page. Now place the URL the image host gave you between:

[img]URL-goes-here[/img]

New Scratchers do have at least 2 weeks to get Scratcher status (however I wasn't very active when I was new, so it took me 3 months

).

Of course, but bear in mind that they can take a while to load for users with slow connections. Large, eye-grabbing animated GIFs tend to be unpopular within the community because they can annoy people, so keep that that in mind.

Thanks! I make animated gifs in my free time, so I wanted a sig to advretise that I can do requests.
