It is definitely weird. It's also weird how no one notices that Sonic goes from not saying a peep to never shutting up.

ring racers is a fan game basically imagine Mario kart Wii but more chaotic its also built off srb2 which is neat

That's nothing.

Project Reignition is P-06 but for Secret Rings.
Shadow Reloaded is a mod for the GC version of Shadow 05 that makes the game more fun.
1 and 2 are the decomps.
Colors is a mod for the Wii version of Colors called “Colors DX”.
Heroes is just a shortcut for Heroes running on Dolphin.
Sonic Dimensions, Rush 3D, Triple Trouble 16-bit, and World DX are all cool fangames you should play.
The rest are Steam games I've bought over the past 4 years.

I just beat S3&K a few days ago so I'll check out TT16B

I'm pretty sure the only Sonic Game a computer can't run are the Joypolis games (Sonic Brain Ranking, etc.)

I'm doing knuckle's campaign in 3&K rn (I already did sonic's campaign), I don't understand why you have to backtrack to get some rings if you die during the bossfight (assuming you got the checkpoint closet to the boss).

Depends. An emulator like Dolphin has an option to automatically open a game through an executable. Another emulator out there may not have that option.

neat I might set it up to open pikmin 2 and sunshine tho I hadn't set up the Wii side of dolphin yet (my sister has the Wii remotes so no actual piece of oringal hardware)

So like obviously the Sonic series isn’t the best represented in smash but like what if they added Tails (in his mech thing from SA2) & Knuckles and then they made Shadow, Eggman & Rouge echos for them as a SA2 reference.
Also it would be great if they gave Sonic better alternate colors than various ugly shades of blue

redo sonic's moveset and add 1-2 new stages and that would be a perfect representation of sonic

If everything is canon, then I don't see why you needed to specify that sonic schoolhouse is canon. If everything is canon, then nothing is non canon

It's a 50/50. While I consider games like Jump, Jump Fever, and Cosmo Fighter canon, those games at least have a story. Not complex ones, but a story nevertheless.
Schoolhouse, meanwhile, has no story at all. Furthermore, why does Sonic own a school? Why is he a teacher?
It's easy to say this game never happens at all, and it's just as easy to say that this game takes place 40 years after TMOSTH.

That'd honestly be cool. And Tails' “mech thing” in SA2 is the Cyclone.
