there's a special forum named Bugs & Glitches to report bugs specifically.

Incorrect. The Suggestions forum is for Scratchers to suggest new ideas to add to the website. One recently got implemented (change the forum blocks 3.0).

The Bugs and Glitches forum is the forum to report bugs.

It's actually more complicated than that. During planning for Scratch 2.0, the ST wanted to make a web-based Scratch, but already saw the Adobe Flash platform as on the way out. When HTML5 came out, and whas completed enough, the ST finally got to create the Scratch they had always wanted to: 3.0.[source]

Considering that we'd always have to wait 5 years after each version, it was estimated to be 2024, but looky here we're still in 3.0. I think it's going to be around 2025-2028, based off other people's since I don't have creative ideas, but I know for a fact that if 4.0 comes out and viewers still can't see their cringe comments from 93765464789213746 years ago, I'm going to squash the world into a pancake, so that all the flat-earthers can be happy. /j (the earth is round imo)

No one knows when Scratch 4.0 will be released, not even the Scratch Team.

Scratch 4.0 is supposed to start development in 2025, but its release date is still a mystery.

Let's wait for more information on Scratch 4.0 before trying to find out when it will release.

Sadly unknown, even the Scratch Team don't know, the rumors say it will start development in 2025, but nothing.
