I should hope so, considering the illegality. Fairly sure the 3DS topic almost got yeeted due to discussing piracy, and if the topic is about something inherently illegal it shouldn't be allowed. Like, if scratch existed 20 years ago (in our current state) I would think something like a Napster topic shouldn't be allowed (and Napster even had some legal uses, albeit nobody used them)

They could be - but remember, topics here are supposed to be about things that you find inspiring, care deeply about, and really want to share. That's why we really like to see a well-framed first post saying what you find inspiring about the book/video/game that you want to discuss - and a good opening paragraph to start the discussion. If it's too shallow, it will likely lead to a lot of spammyness and probably get closed.

im not sure if this has already been asked and answered but i'll ask anyways, if someone made a forum topic, but it was archived and turned off/not active for multiple years, would making a forum topic on that same thing be a duplicate, even though you can't access the first one? (i've been looking for a melanie martinez forum, but the only one i found was turned off in 2016, if u know of an active one pls reply with link >w<)

They've been pretty much not allowed since the 1.x days (so, about well over a decade and a half) due to problematic behavior. If a game exists, it's because it's not being reported (TIRAP updates too frequently to catch them by eye), please report them when you see them.

This may be a stupid question, but it'd be useful to know: What kind of shows and material may we discuss? I know that adult shows are a no-no, but is it strictly PG shows and games or can we mention 13+ content? What's pushing it and what's okay, is what I wish to know.

like Harry Potter is ok

Wings of Fire is for kids, although the graphic novels have some blood, but it's still acceptable.
But I still don't know about HellavaBoss, you could try seeing if a topic for that exists if that was the reason for your post, I've heard about it a lot so it's probably popular.

I think it's best to keep to the main site rps. I believe that roleplaying on the forums is disallowed, but you can make an application topic about your RP so long as each RP actually happens on the main site. Liquid Metal is an example.

Can I make a topic about “things I'm reading and playing” includes topics the Scratcher haven't read? It would help other Scratchers confused about the name. But the description already gives a clear example of what the title means. Things i'm reading (books) and playing (games)

We know forum games aren't allowed here - you say to use the TBG Forums, mostly. But, they're holding a survey on their connection to Scratch, and if the users wouldn't mind Scratch ending the promotion of the TBG Forums. What happens to forum games if the TBG Forums split with Scratch? Where would they go, anywhere? Studios, maybe? Projects?
