Add more types of brushes
Hi Scratch Team,
I love using the Paint Editor in Scratch, but it would be even more exciting if more types of brushes were available. It would be amazing to have additional options, such as:
Textured Brushes for creating more organic, rough, or detailed strokes.
Pattern Brushes that automatically create patterns or shapes, like stars, hearts, or even custom designs.
Gradient Brushes that allow you to create smooth color transitions while drawing.
These new brush types would give Scratchers more tools to make their projects look unique and visually interesting. I hope this idea can be considered for a future update!
Thank you for all the work you do to make Scratch such a great platform!

Add more types of brushes
since scratch uses a vector-based editor (and since it would be weird to restrict it to bitmap-only) this would probably be impossible

But they're fundamentally different. You wouldn't say that it's weird to restrict changing the shape of a curve to the vector editor. They could apply to the bitmap editor, though.again, it would be weird to restrict it to bitmap-only

Pattern Brushes that automatically create patterns or shapes, like stars, hearts, or even custom designs.
stamp
Gradient Brushes that allow you to create smooth color transitions while drawing. This is pretty well explained, no questions needed.
