Both the north pole and Antarctica aren't countries. I don't know why it lists Antarctica because nobody lives there.

I think it's usually a mission for research or something. People don't settle in Antarctica or come from there.

I think it's usually a mission for research or something. People don't settle in Antarctica or come from there.

Sometimes people take vacations in Antarctica. Sometime they go simply to go to the geographic South Pole. Sometimes they're studying the ice. Sometimes they're studying the animals.

Does it matter why they're there as long as they're using Scratch, for the purposes of the Antarctica option for location? No.

I think Scratch is focusing where people reside rather than if they are just visiting.

On the statistics page, it lists there being 0 people in Antarctica, despite many accounts using it. Probably because they know nobody lives there, even though it's possible to visit that place.

But I suppose if you did visit Antarctica, it would be cool to put it under your profile.
