DON'T ADD AI IMAGE GENERATION TO SCRATCH
I don’t really think that AI is art theft. If your image is online, it is subject to inspiration. I think it unacceptable to say that art ideas are yours. Everyone else can take inspiration from art why can’t AI??
You're misinterpreting what I said. AI art isn't inherently art theft, especially since the model Scratch Team was previously developing was trained on all public domain images. What I'd personally consider theft (or at the very least deception) is trying to claim AI art as your own. Especially when people start trying to hand those images out to other people as PFPs, or enter them into contests such as DTIYSs or DMCs.

DON'T ADD AI IMAGE GENERATION TO SCRATCH
I don't think there is enough information to draw that conclusion yet. Script generation is creative as well. So is dialog generation and a recommendation algorithm. No sense getting all worked up until there are more facts.I read the pdf for the position, and it only says AI, not AI image generation (so probably an assistant)It says creative AI, which would imply image generation or similar.
