Can you decode this? Practice edition
This works a bit differently from the normal version. Anyone can contribute easy ciphers, and I'll put them here in a way that you can guide yourself through them without spoiling it.

Practice ciphers are not worth any DeCoins.

To contribute a cipher, use this example as a template: (Make sure the whole thing is enclosed in [color=transparent][/color] so that people scrolling through don't see the answer.)

Practice cipher:
[code]
Guvf vf na rknzcyr pvcure.
[/code]
Steps to solve:
[color=transparent][list=1]
[*]Rotate each letter by 13 positions in the alphabet. A becomes N, B becomes O, and so on.
[/list][/color]
Solution:
[color=transparent]This is an example cipher.[/color]
[url=https://gchq.github.io/CyberChef/#recipe=Vigen%C3%A8re_Encode('N')&input=R3V2ZiB2ZiBuYSBya256Y3lyIHB2Y3VyZS4]CyberChef[/url]
That looks like:
Practice cipher:
 Guvf vf na rknzcyr pvcure.
Steps to solve:
  1. Rotate each letter by 13 positions in the alphabet. A becomes N, B becomes O, and so on.
Solution: This is an example cipher.
CyberChef
(Note that I've used Vigienere cipher with key “N” because ROT followed by 13 is in the filter)

As you can see, you must select the steps and the solution to reveal them, therefore preventing accidental spoiling.
Do not enclose the solution in a code block, otherwise it will end up not being transparent. Also, CyberChef is optional but encouraged. If it is simple enough and you don't provide one, I may make one.

Finally, I'm working on an AI assistant, that you can only ask yes or no questions, to see if you are on the right track. It'll be made in a Scratch mod that we can't talk about, but it'll be compatible with TurboWarp so I'll share it with share.turbowarp.org.

Steps to solve: (highlight to reveal)
  1. Decode from Base64 4 times.

This is pretty easy, just doing it as an example so you can see how it works.

there is no proof that it is sha-512, any set of 64 bytes (512) bits could technically be a sha-512 hash (unless it skips some combinations but if that were the case it wouldn't be as secure so I doubt it).

It was going to be a demonstration of something, but it didn't end up working out. If you were wondering, it's the SHA512 hash of “b0f2e5e3-c41e-4a40-82d5-214190932cf9”. And yes, it was intended to be unsolvable.

Also, I've created the first draft of “Cyberchef URL fixer”. You may have noticed that some Cyberchef urls trip Scratch's filter. But if you go here, you can put the Cyberchef link, and it will base 64 encode the recipe.

Try it out! Get a Cyberchef URL, and put it into that project. Then paste the URL it copied and click the green flag.

Normally, the filter prevents you from using any Cyberchef recipes that use ROT thirteen or ROT forty seven because who knows. But if I put it through here, it becomes:
https://share.turbowarp.org/projects/b86b15e0-67b8-4e20-b176-4941e0dbe3eb?recipe=Uk9UMTModHJ1ZSx0cnVlLGZhbHNlLDEzKQ%3D%3D&input=WWF5LCBpdCB3b3JrcyE
That link is fine, and clicking it and then the green flag will redirect you to the normal cyber chef!

I will certainly make it less ugly soon.

Cool! Another way is to just encode the parameters with URI encoding (have to do it manually since most encoders don't encode all characters) like with this python code:
forbiddenstring = "13shiftcaesarcipher()"
encoded = "".join(['%'+hex(ord(c))[2:] for c in forbiddenstring])
full_url = "https://gchq.github.io/CyberChef/#recipe=" + forbiddenstring + "&more parameters.."
This URI encoding works by taking every character, getting its character code thing, converting it to hexadecimal, and adding % before it.
This way, it works with cyberchef directly. However, you mustn't encode the entire parameters string, only the individual parameter values (so forbiddencipher and not recipe Only problem is it makes the URL 2.25 times longer than your method, or 3 times longer than the original. You could make a project to encode cyberchef URLs like this I suppose - just split the parameter list up, encode all the values and then put it back together again. For testing purposes, you can use decodeURIComponent(“uri encoded string”) in your browser's console to check that your code is encoding it correctly. BTW you don't need to encode the entire string, you can just leave some characters in their original, non-encoded form if you want, it does not matter for decoding.
