"Username Not Allowed" in username with no swear words or bad words?

I want to make a new account with a new username. However, the name I want for the new account says “username not allowed” even though there seems to be no bad words or curse words. The username is not taken either. Why is this happening?

(This might sound a little dumb but I don't wanna share the username since someone might read this, try it, somehow it works for them, makes an account and now its taken.)

Also to add on, the username isn't anything crazy. It's just 1 word with 10 letters, and 4 numbers.

Unfortunately you have to reveal the username so people can help you spot any bad words that may be triggering the filter. The filterbot here in the forums is more relaxed.

That, or you can try removing some characters to see what's going on.

It is the word slenderman, but I think there's something within the word that's not allowed. I'm not completely sure, but the account with the user “slenderman” still is up, so I assume that the word itself is not innapropriate. I'll do some prodding and let you know.

Edit: haha guys I knew it, the term “Slender” is what's getting the username blocked. Apperantly it's some term that Roblox users made to make fun of skinny boys who troll on roblox I guess? I'm not sure.

Report this issue here, and be sure to mention that the term “SlenderMAN” should be whitelisted by the username filter.

There's already accounts with usernames that have slenderman in it. Maybe they changed it recently to not allow it?

Actually, it has something to do with those players who do very not-scratch-appropriate things. In other words, it was probably blocked to avoid kids getting curious and getting their innocence ruined

I know this discussion is over a year old, but I'm curious about why my new account username seems to be not allowed. It's “clear_skystar”. Idk why it's blocked, but thanks to trial and error, I think it must have something to do with “skystar”.
