i am working on a match 3 game similar to Candy crush but after i did the grid i don't know how to make it work. i know the way you are meant to play it but i don't know how to code it Thanks for your help if possible.

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/75428464/ may help. It doesn't handle diagonals but it shouldn't be hard to add that.

Match-3 games like Candy Crush typically don't count diagonals anyway.
