I see some username trend going around where they put 4 letters and 4 Numbers. Why?

Examples:

Abcd1234

dumb2222

I don't know if it's a trend, but I know that having many numbers in the user will make it so it has a lower chance of being the same as someone else's.

Possibly a username generator? how much of these usernames do you see?

There’s like 100,000 users, 33 with similar format is just coincidence.

Not sure where you got 33 because there's a lot more than 33 usernames that follow the format “abcd1234”

One thing I tend to notice is birthdays - if someone was born June 14th, they might be "name0614".

For your examples, 3000 seems like a really round number.
1001, again, is another number that people just think of.

I don't think this is a trend - from the sheer amount of scratchers joining the site, there's bound to be usernames like this.

Usually accounts like these are student accounts created by teachers. It is also really likely considering that there are 33 people with similar formatted names

I do know that mine wasn't made with a username generator.
