Well, yes, don't do that but when responding to necroposts (which you probably shouldn't as it causes more spam) then at the very LEAST explain what they are and why it's bad. Most people who necropost do it because of being new to the platform (the only exception being trolls which should just be reported anyways), and obviously, if you are new to something, you don't know all the rules since you aren't born knowing them.

So, to explain, a necropost is when you post on a topic that is no longer relevant, outdated, or an already rejected or implemented suggestion. Doing so creates clutter in the forums, and since posting on a topic brings it to the top, it brings attention above other topics that deserved the attention.
