Youtube doesn't have profile comments, as far as I know. So it's community section is the equivalent of Scratch's profile comments.
There’s community posts though, you’ll find it in the Community section of your channel.
Oh, okay.

Personally, I feel like that if pinning comments was added, then that would become an effective workaround for this, and would be less confusing.

Support, and use less server space, as full on forum posts for yourself is kinda a waste.

So like a blog? As long as it's not used as a chatroom, I think this is a pretty good idea. I support.

How would people get to the community page, like through a button or tabs on a profile? Where exactly will that button be if it is a button?
I never put much thought into it for some reason, Probably like at the top of the page.
maybe under the shared projects but above the favorite projects there can be a preview of the recent community posts and, by clicking view all or clicking one of the posts, you will get to see all community posts by the user. the link could be something like, for example, “scratch.mit.edu/users/41919/community” or “scratch.mit.edu/users/41919/blog”.

I understand what your trying to go for but its really pointless cuz where would they go how would they act
generally I feel pinning comments is the better suggestion here not to mention that would it take up more storage space

After thinking about it, this would be better since a notification for this on the front page would work better to inform a Scratcher’s audience on updates. However, hear me out, what if this was a forum? That way, to update an audience, Scratchers could just make a topic. Have their followers automatically follow the topic. Have rules on the forum where it has to be an update for the audience and not just a random meme.

and you can only make one topic per account
also i think itd be better if following the topic was optional

Yea same maybe it could be like you get a message for the creation of the topic but you aren’t automatically followed to it. Also, maybe the most recent posts from a user’s topic could be displayed on their profile.
