Should I sell my Xbox one S and get a ps4?
I was wondering whether I should sell my Xbox one S and get a ps4 instead. I've played on the ps4 before and I liked the way the controllers felt, and also the selection and quality of games that Playstation offers.
I need your opinions and some of the pros and cons of the ps4.
Many thanks, Fair 'Nuff

Nah. Most PS4s are starting to degrade (mine included), and you won't get much for a 1S right now. I'd go for a PS5 if you feel the need to switch to PlayStation.

@Nes1Owe_Alt yeah but the problem is I got no cash, and from what I saw the price for a used ps5 is like, $400. If I could keep my Xbox AND get a Playstation I totally would.

It doesn't have as much as the Xbox Series X, but if they feel the need to buy a PlayStation the 5 would be arguably better

Well, yes. EXCEPT the only reason I'm debating getting a ps4 is because the controllers are The G.O.A.T. I like to play Rocket League and these controllers were a GAME CHANGER. I like Xbox but you can't connect Dualshock 4 controllers and those are what I want.

So yeah, about that. I play a lot of RL (Rocket League) and I'm Ok with the Xbox controllers, but one magical day, while I was on vacation, I played RL on a ps4 and it completely changed the way I played. Essentially, the only reason I'm considering selling my 1S is because I'd rather play it on ps4.
(I got the Xbox One S at a friend's garage sale basically in mint condition for 10 bucks. What a steal. Came with disc 2 of Red Dead Redemption 2 still in the disc slot as well LOL)

Yeah, I'm broke as hell tho. I'd totally buy a PC but I need a job and I'm “Not trustworthy enough” according to my parents. I can see what they mean.

Can't think of one off of the top of my head, but there's third-party Xbox remotes that are formatted like a DualShock 4.I say get a PC + steam then you should get a ps4 controller

I've seen some in stores and in ads when I had a GameInformer subscription. You can re-arrange the D-Pad (it comes with a PS4-esque one and an Xbox-esque one) and joysticks, etc. The downside is the cost of about $160, it's called the Thrustmaster Eswap Pro Controller. Can't think of one off of the top of my head, but there's third-party Xbox remotes that are formatted like a DualShock 4.I say get a PC + steam then you should get a ps4 controller

(If it's the button mapping that bothers you, you can always remap them in Settings or at least Rocket League's settings, can't you?)

Indeed I can, I changed the button mapping from the Xbox layout to the Nintendo Switch's layout. It made it a lot less confusing

I've seen used Thrustmasters and the older models sold for about $100, but it's designed specifically for your problem.I've seen some in stores and in ads when I had a GameInformer subscription. yeah lol but I'm on my parents school computer and I have to request websites before I go to them. Requesting Mercari would look weird for school wouldn't it?
