Not all untrue things are forbidden. Fantasy and fictional stories are allowed, jokes, etcetera are allowed. However, purposefully lying and being dishonest is not allowed. The Scratch CGs state that you must be honest, and the opposite of honesty is lying and deceit.

Well yea, though that person said “so you can't just say”, and I would be mad if I actually got blocked for saying that if I did have an account on that platform in this way..

I think that the respect for religion they demand is non-harassment and not being sacrilegious (making fun of religion), following the rules of every religious text simultaneously is impossible—you'd have thousands of contradictions and most religions demands that you follow no other god(s) but its own.

Giving false locations and such should be done humorously.

Don't use the term “not telling the whole truth” that implies lying by means of omission of important detains, or adding extraneous detains.

The rule is not, “you can lie as long as you aren’t using it to exploit others.” That would allow fearmongering and personal rumors so long as they aren't directly used for manipulation.

The definition of manipulate is to control of influence a situation or person. Saying Scratch will be destroyed tomorrow is influencing a person’s ideas, which is manipulation.

Fear mongering isn't allowed, it just spreads panic. There have been rumors/comments in the past that say things like “Scratch is going to shut down on December 12th 2023” or something, and when people read that, they believe it. Fear mongering of this sort also falls under misinformation, which isn't allowed.
