I've been wanting to have some kind of display name, I saw it was rejected and understood why, but this solution solves basically every problem with it! The display names are never shown just themselves without the username by it, so it wouldn't be too confusing. I think this is a good idea–it is a great aesthetic addon and can also help with people who want to change their usernames but don't want to go through the pain of making a new account; just change the account's display name!

Also, some people are here trying to say this is rejected, it is, but the TOLORS LITERIALLY states that you can make topics that are solutions to rejected suggestions. This hasn't been closed as rejected yet, either.

Also, scratchers be stooopid. Not know difference between display name and then get confuzzled. It cause problems and badness. Doesn't solve problem with rejection.

Let's be polite now. How do you know nobody needs this, anyways? Have you asked everyone if they need it?

Not aligned with goals of scratch. No value for programming or sharing project to get feedback or working together on projects.
If you really want, make a new account to not cause confusion.

How so? You didn't really explain that very well here.
