Hello! I looked through The Official List and didn't find ANYTHING like this topic, so if this is a duplicate, I am very sorry, I could not find it.

What is this topic?
This topic is a place to discuss any and all Dystopian books, movies, TV shows, video games, whatever Dystopian media that you may be interested in. Not a lot of Dystopian series have their own thread, so this is kind of a mash up of all of them.

What is Dystopian?
The dictionary definition is relating to or denoting an imagined state or society where there is great suffering or injustice. “the dystopian future of a society bereft of reason”, but in terms we usually use, basically Dystopian is a story set in an imagined place, usually a country or nation, where there are typically lots of unfair rules or a corrupt leadership. At least in all Dystopian books I've read, the story is usually set in the future from when it was written. (That's the best way I could think to describe it, sorry if it's unclear!!)

What is some Dystopian media?
Some Dystopian media include… (Smiley face= highly recommended)
-Hunger Games
-The Giver

-The Lunar Chronicles (Not quite a Dystopian, but has a lot of Dystopian qualities so I'm putting it on the list)
-Among the Hidden
