currently, there are no three letter usernames that are not yet taken. all of them have been registered. but maybe one day in the future, an account with such short username can get gdpr’d in which the username will be available again; but that is very unlikely.

They were all used a while ago.

All the 3-character usernames are either taken or unable to be created (due to the filter). You'll have to just make a 4-character username at this point.

I think all of the 4 character usernames were taken too, but I may be wrong. I saw a teacher account named 4CHR that had like a billion followers which were all student accounts taking up nearly every 4 character usernames.
It sucks when people claim all of the short usernames, leaving none for others!
