Yes. I think/remember the page wasn't available/gave error earlier a few years or months ago. It suddenly started working then (I don't know when exactly).

WIth teacher accounts, you can use a CSV file to make scratch accounts in batches for classes. I wonder if you could use this to make a user with a long username… This would all depend on if the server-side checks apply to student accounts made with a CSV file.
