The dazzling raindrops pitter pattered on the makeshift den she and her family called home . To small Pea , rain was one of the many magical things in the world . Along with flowers , bees , sleep and food . Peony stared into the distance , the den filled with soft murmurings of snores and the sound of bellies rising and falling with each breath . Peony was often the only one awake at this hour , she rarely fell asleep first . Except this time she had been the first to wake up . Digging her paws in the muddy debris below , Peony slowly stood up , walking towards the rain step by step up until she was nearly outside. An angelic siren called her , it was a heavenly glow , one of the rising sun , that pulled her towards the outside . Ignoring the slowing rain , Pea stepped outside , leaving tiny paw imprints in her wake . Her soft blue eyes were enchanting and curious , itching with anticipation of finding out where her paws were leading her . She kept waking , where her paws finally stopped , in a stretch of woodland beside the pond . Familiarizing herself with her surroundings , memories soon came flooding back . She was at the border , the border between Shadowclan and the loners territory . There was a forbidden invisible line . A line that Pea wanted to cross , but her obedience forced her to do the opposite . she began to walk backwards , away from the border , but unexpectedly fell down a rabbits burrow . Her kicking and thrashing of her paws threw dirt in her eyes , making Pea temporarily blind . With sight out of the five her other senses heightened , allowing her to sense her surroundings . Slowly padding through the tunnels , Peony soon found an opening . { ps . the dirt is gone from he eyes by now } . Confused about where she was , she looked around . She had surfaced in a very secluded meadow , one where fireflies roamed and where flowers grew aplenty . Stunned by the majesty of the meadow , she looked around , studying everything intensively . A few moments passed where she saw the pond in the distance through a crack in a few branches . Pea shrugged ‘ guess I didn’t get very far ' she murmured to herself . Then she made a declaration to herself , this would now be her private space . A space where she could escape the burdens of the world and play freely . This would be her own personal garden . Droopy-eyed and sleepy , Peony started to pad back to the pond . She would soon return to her garden . Her magical , magical garden .
