Changing Variable Colors

In scratch 3 the ability to change variable colors is gone, which is a shame because it is nice to have colors other than orange on a variable

I’m honestly shocked they haven’t implemented this yet! It’s such a good idea, I heavily support this

+1; I hate having to go through alphabetically to find the one variable I want. It'd be easier with different colors.

That site has a policy against talking about it on Scratch.

support, this would be a nice break from the annoying orange (pun intended)

Support! I always feel that the stark orange snaps the player out of the game world.

Changing Variable Colors

when green flag clicked
set [v] to [1]
set volume to (v) %

The result is a purple variable with a value of v.

Allow me to clarify that there has never been this feature. You may correct me if I am wrong.
Apologies for my inaccuracy, my claim has been disproven by medians;

Incorrect, in the 2.0 online editor, there was a way you could set block colors. However, this wasn't permanent, but you could download a file to save it on your computer.
In fact one of my alts is named the feature:

Yes, but that doesn't work when the value that you want isn't a number, the volume has limits, and that only works when the color you want is the same as the cstegory.

Edit: Though yea, the block feature does not exist (as in setting each variable with blocks). The feature mentioned there did exist though.

Please state why- “support” simply casts you vote, which is not the purpose of the discussion forums. At the end of the day, the ST doesn't particularly care what your vote is for any suggestion- and therefore it's better to say something constructive and related to the suggestion.

Scratch is not a democracy.

i actually made a project about this, but technically it wasnt infinite because scratch has a 300 clone limit, and doesnt look much like the normal variables, but if you want to see it, here is the link here

I mean, you could somehow use stamps instead of clones, and you wouldn't have to worry about the clone limit.
