what new features do y'all want
1. Catching exceptions
Maybe it would work like:
function handler
out An error occured:
outl {lastexc}
end

function buggy
out
end

call buggy catch errorhandler
Outputs:
An error occured: Unknown command: out
2. Editor side-panel with docs

I know, but short file extensions are easier to type out
And why might you need to type them out?
For when I'm using a code editor?? What else, duh

Let's be real here, Obscure's code editor support is so lacking that the only way you'd want to code in it is using their official IDE

Don't know when I said that, but yeah, AI is horrible at generating code
I never said I'm adding an AI that writes code for you - if anything, I am against using AI to write code, takes away all the fun and it's also a nightmare to debug and understand
However, I am all for using AI to debug code / find why your project is doing X when it should be doing Y

I'm gonna need help picking a name for the new AI assistant, and in a maximum of 7 days, all prize winners will receive access to test it out

ObscAi
Sorry that is a random name I came up with in 30 seconds

Or if you were to pick a name without “AI” in it, you could do Obsi (pronounced Ob-See, Ob like the one in “Ob-ject”, “See” like “See”.) or Obsci (similarly pronounced, however with C.)

obscure cat

because a little birdie told me the obscure mascot was scratch cat's sister[1] and it would be cool if the mascot == helper

yeah but let's remember that this is an obscure programming language
And may you explain why an obscure programming language cannot have a file extension which looks good?
cuz it would be obscure

How are you gonna do that? ScratchAuth?

(Sounds super cool BTW. I like AI-just not for writing code)
Also, you didn't directly say that AI is bad at writing code, but you alluded to that:

i talked to coffee about implementing scratchauth in the earlier days of the project and they said they didn't see a point since it wasn't really related to scratch. i don't know if their opinion has changed since then because of this contest's prize, but that's my two cents.
