What's the Stance on Shipping?
I've wondered this for a while. What does ST think about shipping? Is it okay, or no? I would assume it's not allowed, since Scratch doesn't really like romance, but topics and projects devoted to shipping are not closed.

Dictionary says:I've seen shipping forum projects and forum posts in the past. Some are listed in the topic directory in TIRaP.
shipping (present participle)
support or have a particular interest in a romantic pairing between two characters in a fictional series, often when this relationship is one portrayed by fans rather than depicted in the series itself.

I think it's alright as long as you don't ship real people.

Shipping fictional characters should be fine as long as you're not shipping morally weird or illegal things (such as shipping family members, or shipping adults with children). If you're going to show something romantic, don't portray anything worse than hugging or a peck on the cheek.
Shipping actual people, including other Scratch users, is a no-go, especially so if you're doing so without consent from both parties.

What's the Stance on Shipping?
Shipping fictional characters is allowed, as long as it follows the Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. That means the ships must be appropriate for an all ages audience [no inappropriate romantic/intimate things between the characters] and doesn't have any dynamics considered illegal if between real people [such as between family members or minors and adults].
Shipping real people, however, is not allowed.
why did my post submit while in the middle of me typing this out sobs

HELM GNAW!
Ok but honestly shipping in my personal opinion feels disgusting.]
edit:It is allowed, if it doesn't get out of hand.

What's the Stance on Shipping?
imo just
- don’t ship real people
- no inappropriate stuff that doesn’t follow scratch’s guidelines
- no weird things or even illegal
and we’re ok

To add to this, no shipping of Scratchers or other real people. As long as everything stays appropriate, it's fine.
