Ban Evasion?
Does it count as ban evasion if the alternate account was made before you were banned? I was banned on a different account at one point, and I had already had this account, so I didn't know what to do.
this is not evasion I got the account back

If you logged onto the alternative account and did stuff while the other account was banned, it counts as ban evasion.

Ban Evasion?
Yes, it still counts as ban evasion. When the Scratch Team issues a ban, they ban a person, not just an account. This means that the person is not allowed to use Scratch, whether through the account that actually received the ban or another account, regardless of when it was created.

Only if you use the alt account while one of your existing accounts is banned.

Ban Evasion?
Of course it is. Ban evading isn't just making a new account while banned. It's just using another account, regardless of the creation date.

Everyone above is correct in general, but I do want to mention that it does depend somewhat on why your other account was banned. Are you the one who had a collaboration account banned? If so, using a different account when one of them was banned for being a collaboration account is generally okay.

Yes, I was. So it was alright? Everyone above is correct in general, but I do want to mention that it does depend somewhat on why your other account was banned.
