As you can see; The intersex part is already barely noticeable, and will be near invisible once scaled to comment size.

Wait, if the emoji is already implemented, doesn't this defeat the purpose of the suggestion, then?

This is a mock-up I found on the original topic. Not implemented.

Well, continue on, then. Apologies.

Positive does not mean constructive. People can disagree with a suggestion and still contribute.

Agreed. However, that does not mean that you should be negative at all. Scratch is a place for kindness. Anything that is not kind is not welcome.

usually with the intersex inclusive flag the stripes are moved along a bit to make space for it -

be aware that it will be very tiny on mobile applications. the intersex flag is complex when you consider how small it is

… no?
trans people are when you identify as the opposite gender
intersex people are people born with uh. no clear gender (like it’s a mix of male and female, biologically)

generally, no, since being intersex doesn't relate directly to gender identity.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again

Adding intersex sets a standard for everyone to be included - now we need the trans flag and others in with it. The rainbow was meant to be flag that includes everyone.

When in reality, intersex is such a small percent of the LGBTQ community, and some would argue it’s not even LGBTQ since it’s generally not like anything else there.
This is a common argument I've seen against the “Progress” flag—since the rainbow itself was meant to represent the entire LGBTQIA+ community, adding extra colours to it is redundant.

What this argument disregards is the reason those extra colours were added to begin with: erasure.
Throughout queer history, many POC, trans, and intersex individuals have been forgotten and erased from history. The Progress flag is meant to send a message, to remind us of the identities that history has forgotten—all too often, on purpose.

I think the last sentence of your post is actually a perfect argument for why we should include the intersex symbol. According to the United Nations, it's estimated that 1.7% of all people are born with intersex traits. By that estimate, nearly 140 million of the current world population are intersex.

Even if the intersex population were as tiny as many seem to believe it is, don't those people still deserve support? Humanity is not a number; each person is a living, breathing individual.

Misconceptions like this are all too prevalent in our society, and the struggles and experiences of intersex people are constantly downplayed, ignored, and misunderstood as a result. THAT is why it belongs in the flag.

I am wholeheartedly in favour of adding the intersex symbol to Scratch's pride emoji.

+10000 support. more inclusiveness.
but about the whole “but what if others want their sexuality to be included”
1. its smol so resolution go brr
2. sorry but skibidisexual is not a sexuality
3. if everyone is included, all those colors will result in the flag looking like the rainbow gods vomited over some paper.

That's not really relevant here. The proposal is not to invent a new rainbow flag design with the intersex symbol on it—the design has already been made. The suggestion is just for Scratch to adopt that design.

Whether or not other symbols should be added to the flag is a separate issue that's outside the scope of Scratch.

Why shouldn't Scratch adopt all 345665432345* designs as well?
*Debatable. I just ran my finger over the number pad.
