It should stay up in case people make a bunch of duplicate topics.

technically you can add your projects to studios as a way of communication, and i personally think they should be treated like text fields. i assume if this was implemented during the studio update a few years back then it was definitely added for a reason.

You are allowed to bump old suggestions. How else will the discussion remain in one place?

Sure, although you can make and share projects, and you can edit your About Me or WIWO while muted. I presume projects have more opportunity to use as communication (As well as About Me and WIWO sections) then studios.

I believe that was an intentional feature as we have seen the studio fields used to circumvent a mute.
