is there a script out there that lets you embed an sb3 file on a webpage and has it play it directly from that?

If the project is shared on Scratch, you can click the “Copy Link” button on the project page to get the HTML to embed the project in another page.

yes, but i want to know if there is a way to do it without it being on scratch

I also used scaffolding for a side project, and if I'll be honest, it probably isn't going to change very much from alpha (at least I hope)

If the SB3 file is static, you can also just package the project to HTML using something like the TurboWarp Packager (which uses Scaffolding under the hood) and embed its output into your website.
