I got a red error message when I tried to change my profile image (and it was just a bunch of either code or gibberish).

GLaDOS is nice and all (well, not nice), but I'd like to change my profile picture. Is it something I'm doing wrong?

Yeah, mine won't even let me change it… Though i don't want to anyway.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble - Does it happen with every image that you try? Could you try a variety of different (but small) images? Maybe different formats (JPEG, PNG)? You also might try it in a different browser - it could be a browser issue.

JPEG, PNG and GIF don't work, and I'm using Windows (if that's any help)…

Hmm - what browser are you using? (probably IE, I'd guess… but what version?) Have you been able to try it in a different browser, to see if it works there?

got the same error on mine I REALLY need this fixed right away any help?

No, I have been unable to user a different brwser, and I think it is Internet Explorer that's the problem. Do you know how to find which version it is?

Well, I use Internet Explorer, and it works just fine!!!

Not working for me. I really wanna change my image as the default sucks….

Probaly becuase your image name doesne't have enough characters or from a sofware malfuction on explorer.exe or the browser was unable to respond a command from The command you did for some reason

Okay, I am having the same problem on my Windows Vista computer. I can change it on my iPad or on my WiiU, but I can't change it on my computer.

P.S. - My picture is a screenshot of MK8 I uploaded from my WiiU's internet browser.

I can't change my profile picture, because it comes up with code in a red box, so that's why I have no profile picture

I use Firefox, so I'm not sure either. And, umm… jay4966, what does meat have to do with this?

Hmm… weird. I changed mine at least three times, and htttp/scratch.mit.edu/users/Dawn-Kitty/ changes her nearly every day.

Make sure the image/GIF doesn't exceed 1 megabyte. If it's bigger than 1 megabyte, Scratch won't let it load.

Chrome is a browser, & I have Chrome on my Windows CORE™i3 laptop…

If you mouse over your profile pic, it should go from your normal one to one with the word “Change” on it click on “Change”.

My profile picture will change, but the new one won't show up on my profile, but in discussions, the new one shows. Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?
