Please don't say it's too much spam, that's irrelavant. If it's too much spam, don't follow it. There are some people, like me, who don't mind inbox spam.

I've already brought up the new topics thing, forgot how I worded it even though I literally just checked where I brought it up but I think it went something like

I had to switch from Hungarian to English which broke my brain but did a more realistic mockup with inspect element (i only edited text attributes i didnt add anything else)

Theres a certain website made for trading in games, and there’s an option to follow a certain item to be notified on all listings made on the item, one time I clicked that on an item, and I kept getting bombarded with notifications and it wasn’t fun. Considering this would be similar, I don’t know who would even want to get this many notifications

I agree but there would be way way way too much spam! Like at night your whole mailbox would be spammed with stuff like new post in this one and new post in that.

I mean, to be fair, I don't think that's how the existing “Follow Discussion” button works. From what I can tell, I do not get one notification for every post made on a topic I follow. If someone makes a new post, I will usually get a notification, and then never get a notification again, until I actually view the topic and then someone makes a new post.

So, if this suggestion works at all like the existing “Follow Discussion” button works, then I could see this working without much spam.

i really don't understand what's so hard about clicking into the forum and then looking for the bolded topics. every day when i sit down and forum i usually check the entire forum back to unread.
