The term “cat got your tongue” comes from how in ancient Egypt, a punishment was that they would cut off your tongue and feed it to cats
I learned that years ago but I haven't seen it in many places so it must not be that common of knowledge

So you could've been is theaters watching Star Wars around the same time somebody got decapped

This is one of my favorite facts to randomly bring up
