another variant i made up stole from snap:

broadcast [green flag v]idk why you cant use greenflag in dropdowns in scratchblocks, just imagine a green flag instead of the text

broadcast @greenFlag:: eventsIs the closest you can get to that. You have to use @greenFlag, rather than gf or green flag
@greenFlag produces
@greenFlagbut is ignored in inputs:
[@greenFlag]
[@greenFlag v]

this would be useless because broadcast blocks are pretty easy to learn and the
move () stepsblock would require pretty complex math to rectate.

Ikr, but some newbies may not understand what broadcats are.
I used to think broadcasts broadcasted across projects so…
anyway, I don't think this should be added, to easy to abuse.
