There can still be problems. Schools can think the camp is run by a group that tries to do dangerous illegal activities and pretend to be ST running the event.Does that not apply to every camp?
I believe it may not be the worst idea for there to be an in-person camp for Scratch. Sure, some people won’t have an opportunity to go, but does that mean we should also stop Scratch Day?

Scratch Day is digital and happens on Scratch, meaning if I wanted to and if my procrastination allowed me to I could participate in Scratch Day. An in-person camp doesn't quite have the same affect. Although I guess they could partner up with CoderDojo to have a version more focused on Scratch? There can still be problems. Yeah, I was gonna mention that but the physical aspects of Scratch Day are outnumbered by the digital aspects.Scratch Day is digital and happens on Scratch, meaning if I wanted to and if my procrastination allowed me to I could participate in Scratch Day.
