DON'T USE OPERA GX. (And this advice is from a Firefox user who knows about the dangerous practices.)

Opera GX is made by a chinese company that is required to send your personal data to the ccp, so it could be used for very evil stuff such as properganda (intentionally misspelt cuz of filter) or hacking. Just use firefox or smth, opera gx is broken with a LOT of websites as well so its literally baiting you.

Opera GX is ran by a Chinese company that sells your data. DO NOT USE IT.
Just use Firefox. Unlike nearly all other browsers out there, it has nothing to do with Google, and thus, can do whatever it wants without following Google's (pretty bad) rules.

Change browsers. The best browsers don't need to be advertised on YouTube because they're so good. The alternatives are so much better.

Opera GX sells your data. Let’s not use it…
Some alternatives are:
Firefox (supports scratch, has extremely good security/privacy)
Brave (haven’t used, but from what I’ve heard I think it supports scratch and has good security/privacy)

I've used brave in the past and its pretty ok, just its not very customizable compared to firefox. Firefox has a userChrome.css file you can modify.

There is also DuckDuckGo, it supports Scratch and has good security/privacy.

In Firefox, you can actually set your homepage as a custom website, so incase you don’t know CSS or are on mobile, you can use a website builder to make a custom homepage. Although I’ve heard you can do this in Brave too.

Dude, what are you doing…

Opera Gx is literally just clickbait that is telling you to switch so that they can dominate Google (only because they're jealous, L's to them.) Not only that, they are a Chinese incoporation, who want you to sell you data to them, which is wrong.

DDG is apparently a browser too search engine, it can't “support” or “not support” scratch.

Opera GX is chinese spyware
Google Chrome is american spyware

Firefox is the way to go

Adding further OperaGX support is a terrible idea (with all due respect).

Do NOT use OperaGX. Switch to Firefox, Edge or even Chrome over OperaGX!

Buddy, no it's not. Google isn't anywhere near spyware.
Chrome isn't ran by a Chinese company, to be fair.

It's certainly closer than Firefox is, though. Be careful what you do with Google…

Agreed. But how does that really relate to anything in the discussion, though?

Considering they got sued for a couple billion for tracking people while in Incognito Mode[1], I'm not so sure if that's true.

A lot of people seem to think their data isn’t already in the market. The CCP will get your data anyways. Y’all use any Meta products? Maybe you can avoid it, but Google? Y’all think Google won’t sell your data?

A lot of people use Opera GX, so better support for it could be a useful change.
