I'd say that's already implemented as you could just design your profile picture using the costume editor, set it to bitmap, export it, and use that as your profile picture

I mean because I want it high quality…and I don't really want to export it. I'd say that's already implemented as you could just design your profile picture using the costume editor, set it to bitmap, export it, and use that as your profile picture

Well in that case no support. It's not that hard to design a profile picture using external software (or even Scratch's paint editor, like I said) I mean because I want it high quality…and I don't really want to export it.
Also pretty sure this is a dupe of another topic but i can't find it. i'll edit this post if i find it

It's really not that hard… besides, what would stop the PFP from being low-quality if you created one without exporting?I mean because I want it high quality…and I don't really want to export it. I'd say that's already implemented as you could just design your profile picture using the costume editor, set it to bitmap, export it, and use that as your profile picture

Why can't you use an external paint editor, or just use Scratch's paint editor and then export it?

If you want a high quality one, just use a webp file like all the “crispy” pfp tutorials. No need for a profile picture maker

forever
play sound [sand cat song v]
end

Make a pfp using scratch editor, or whatever you use.

Convert it to a .webp (with 2 frames) I mean because I want it high quality…and I don't really want to export it.

You can just screenshot your profile picture while in the editor.
Also you can just screenshot your picture in the stage.
Oh, and also, Scratch profile picture sizes are 480x360. It will lose *some* quality unfortunately. It is what it is.

Heres a better idea, make the PFP in the editor, download it as a bitmap and litterally use it as your PFP.

export
eight year olds might not understand this.
external image editor … webp
External programs are not a workaround.
I think it would be nice, just using the normal vector/bitmap editor and skipping some hassle. it would be intuitive to use and I can't really see drawbacks other than it may not be top priority
