How to Make a GOOD Game
They start flooding the web so I agree. I don't really like generic games. Some are interesting, but most are not. I think Scratch should have more non-generic games, so that's why I made this forum.

How to Make a GOOD Game
Another topic I'd like to add:
animation.
If you animate your characters instead of just having one costume of a static sprite, it'll bring your characters to life!
One more good thing to add is:
things that make you stand out.
This one is confusing, but a good example is with my LEGO Marvel franchise. One day I just thought, “What if I mad a LEGO Marvel game?” Sure enough I searched it and no results popped up. So I mad the game and it became my most popular project so far. Sure, it's not very good, but it's unique. That's why people liked it.

Hear me out… …seen a platformer where the player is a simple geometric shape with an eye or two…-
A cube with three eyeballs.

How to Make a GOOD Game
It's really nice that you want to help out with a guide! However, we have a number of them in the forums already and we don't have a good way to showcase any more. If you want to make a guide in a Scratch project, that would be fine. You could advertise it in the “Show and Tell” section too.
There are lots of other ways to help out in the forums too. Helpful Scratchers are always welcome in the “Questions About Scratch”, “Help With Scripts”, “Requests” and other sections. Just look around and ask questions
