can you make a horror game if you add a warning at the begining
I want to make a horror game, however, don't know if I'm aloud to, so I'm wondering if I can make a horror game if it has a warning at the start

Warnings will not influence the Scratch Team's decision to take down a project. Just don't make a horror game, if you do decide to make one, no jumpscares, intense topics, disrespectful langauge, or violence.

warnings do nothing, so it can still be removed even with a warning. No jump scares, gore, realistic weapons, scary images, etc.

Both of those movies have some inappropriate content.

Adding on: People may argue “It’s the kid’s fault for ignoring the warning!” But that’s simply not fair, because kids are… kids, and they will be curious and it’s Scratch’s duty to make sure their rules are good enough to prevent this stuff.I want to make a horror game, however, don't know if I'm aloud to, so I'm wondering if I can make a horror game if it has a warning at the startYou can't put a warning as it's against the TOS. Projects with anything that breaks the Community Guildlines are not aloud, even with warnings it‘s still against the rules. If your unsure these are the guidelines, https://resources.scratch.mit.edu/www/posters-printables/en/ScratchCommunityGuidelinesPoster18x24.pdf
You can still make awesome projects but without horror.
I wonder what you will create.

Content warnings aren't allowed, on the grounds that anything that needs them shouldn't be on Scratch anyways

(source: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/168506/ )
A better phrasing would be; “Content warnings for things that you think would break guidelines also break guidelines, it doesn’t change anything.”

That jumpscare doesn't sound allowed. You have to consider that many Scratchers are extremely young and you cannot expect them to handle jumpscares the same way someone of older age might.Warnings will not influence the Scratch Team's decision to take down a project. This is only partly true. You can put a warning, it just wouldn't affect moderation action. The ST won't take your project down just because you put a warning.I want to make a horror game, however, don't know if I'm aloud to, so I'm wondering if I can make a horror game if it has a warning at the startYou can't put a warning as it's against the TOS. Umm…scratch, do you mind if I make a horror game but with a warning at the start? Its a school project and a project and sorry if I'm mean to you, uhhh its ok, just give me something I can remove or add then I will post it
Also, because of the kids who will bypass it, can we age restrict projects? I don't mean 18+, just an appropriate age for kids to play horror games
(Sorry that I'm so shy I'm just not sure who I'm texting with….)
Thank you if you will answer my post…But I'm still not sure if I will share the game

From what I have read on the Scracth Wiki (https://en.scratch-wiki.info ) and googled, you can't get age restricted projects. Scratch is made for Schools and is made so that anyone can intercact with projects with an account. Also, Scratch is strictly Family friendly (have only content for all ages)
