What is a blanket ban?
All types of content relating to something are banned, no questions asked.
For example there is a blanket ban on Hazbin Hotel.
The post you linked is also incorrect, I should add, and doesn't give perspective to the definition - there is not a blanket ban on all blood (that would mean papercut amounts wouldn't be allowed).

What is a blanket ban?
i reckon if you want an easier time understanding it,
the nights at freddrick’s (you know what i mean) is a horror game that’s just extremely popular. it’s very dark in gameplay and ‘lore’ so it’s easy for children to get caught in its darkness due to its popularity. it’s just overall scary as heck to many, so referencing the exact words whilst trying to search results in nothing.
so i suppose a blanket ban would be filtering as much references to a piece of media as possible if it’s particularly based around explicit (inappropriate) content, such as horror.
ironically, poppy playtime is also something where you can’t see anything if you search the game’s exact name, despite being for children 8+ (if i remember correctly), so i suppose popular media in general, if it’s even mildly scary, would be blanket banned if it contained themes that would normally be for adults.
correct me if i’m wrong on anything.

FNaF isn't blanket banned - Making projects that use the spooky aspect are however.

(#7)Where does that come from? You can make FNAF projects, it's just that certain aspects are limited.ST literally said FNAF is bannedthe nights at freddrick’s (you know what i mean) is a horror game that’s just extremely popular. it’s very dark in gameplay and ‘lore’ so it’s easy for children to get caught in its darkness due to its popularity. it’s just overall scary as heck to many, so referencing the exact words whilst trying to search results in nothing.you can say the title, by the way.

FNAF is not blanket banned.
The only things I know of that are blanket banned are Browser Extensions, Hazbin Hotel, and some things I can definitely not say.
