Kokoro Beats - Main Thread 2.0 | Soundwave Productions | Hiring Coders, Artists, Designers, Voice Actors, Composers, Singers!! | An RPG-Rhythm Game

To my amazing, enduring, and talented ex-team,

Thank you all so much. I started Kokoro Beats because I wanted to learn the ins and outs of rhythm games, but I see that it has now blossomed into something so much more. All of your incredible dedication and hard work on our game has brought it more and more to life as each day passes. I’ve always watched from the side, even after I stepped down, and I will continue to do so. Think of me as your resident ghost ancestor or something .

Your unwavering commitment and diligence have been crucial in bringing my vision, now our to life. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and excited about the future possibilities that lie ahead. Thank you, also, for believing in me and for putting your hearts into every aspect of this project.

Without you all, I couldn’t have done half as much as was done, and certainly not in the same time frame. I hope that you all continue to work together as you have done, and prosper and grow even as the game development continues.

I wish you all the best in life, and I share with you all my undying gratitude and faith as I take my leave.

Sincerely,
Blau

Hey, I'm Builder_53_Studios, aspiring composer! I'm an (ex) manager for The Piano Shop, which you should totally check out if you need music, a trainee at The Record Scratchers, and a composer for Kokoro Beats, an upcoming rhythm game inspired by Project Sekai!

I've been front paged on Geometry Dash's Music platform (somehow lol), earned absolutely no money on my music, composed for multiple trending Scratch games (hitting the top 5 a couple times), and currently having some of my music being used in a paid game!

Don't feel shy about messaging me!

I suggest you listen to some of my music before asking me to compose for you. Check out my Music Portfolio for all of my orders/requests/whatever. I feel like I have a specific style that I don't know if everyone likes. Listen and see if I would fit for your project!

I compose various styles, including:

- Cinematic/Orchestral Music
- Electronic Music
- Glitch-hop
- FNF Songs
- My own style mixed with synths and instruments that I like

I'm currently working on learning mixing, mastering, and some new styles of music! (J-pop, J-rock, K-pop, various electronic subgenres)

Sorry for not being active atm. I promise as soon as i get some free time im going to update the RPG engine to 0.9 and then soon after the first official release! Also o7 blau

Summary:
1: One singular sprite for one singular purpose
2: REMOVE THE STRAY BLOCKS

Organization is one of the most important things in scratch because if your project is cluttered and impossible to read you can't get any help and it will make your project seem less manageable.

Two of the most important things when it comes to organization is 1: Compactness. You need to make your project compact since that will make it cleaner to read. The most common mistake when it comes to compactness is making multiple different sprites that all are about or have something to do with each other. You should always only use one singular sprite for one singular purpose. (Player_Hitbox) and (Player) should be in the same sprite!!! Just use clones and some simple code management to separate the two and your code is much better. 2: Removing stray blocks. What I mean by that is for example when you finish some code and there is a lot of random stuff which doesn't do anything around the code you should remove it since it makes your project less laggy and easier to navigate!

I just realized that the reason no one is doing daily standups is because no one is checking them. So starting tomorrow I am committing to doing daily standups to convince me to commit to finish other KB projects to help me to commit to be a better employee. Yes, I am committing to commit to commit. I implore we all do the same. Is this a partial joke? Totally. Will I actually do it? Also totally.

Haha I like that mentality. I haven't been able to check in and stuff due to life getting busier as the school year begins. So apologies for that

Hey guys! I'm designing the school uniform and need to know what I'm working with. Any ideas for the school colors? I was thinking about dark plum and black (or white) cause - ya know - some male players may not be too happy if I decided to go for hot pink. I was also thinking about giving each student a pin for each instrument(s) they play, so any ideas for pin designs?

P.S. If anybody needs sound effects, I have a violin and a very weird sound-maker (aka my mouth) at my disposal. Just note that I suck at the violin, so I could play a sound effect that happens when the player messes up.

Hi there! I'm an avid reader, writer, and artist who likes to procrastinate (grins). PLEASE CRITIQUE THIS PROJECT - I NEED OPINIONS! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1048460192/

I think we could just do dark red, dark pink, rose or just red? and white. Also I think we should just do a microphone for singing characters, a violin for string players, etc. I can do sound effects too btw.
