Well, what happens if you decide to share an unshared studio that has an unshared project, and you don't share that project? Does the project get removed from the studio?

I assume so, as that is what the previous people have been saying. An alternative is they could only show for the person who owns the project, until it is shared.


My notes from reading the past 14 pages: (Please note these are not my opinions)

Support:
- says “_ was promoted to manager of untitled studio” when you create the studio (It is annoying when people see your blank/unfinished studio)

- good if something came up and you are forced to stop making the studio halfway

- If someone sees a contest studio being worked on, they would have extended time to work on their submission
- Only takes one extra click to share the studio
- Preparing the text in a separate app is not always possible, or inefficient. You also need to test how the thumbnail will size, or if you are putting ascii art or fancy formatting

No support:
- Unshared projects (might) be shared if you share a studio they are in
- Most studios don't take too long to set up (unlike projects), it is unlikely someone will see the studio while it is being made
- If you leave an unfinished studio it doesn't matter that much. Can just write “unfinished” if want to leave. Also not much people will notice unless advertised or invited to the studio
- Folders in my stuff is a better alternative for organisation, this is not what studios are used for. Most people who are supporting are hoping for this
- Not worth ST's time, could be working on something with more benefit. In some ways this only benefits people who want really good studios or have lots of followers
- Other better/more beneficial ideas were rejected
- Unshared studios don't benefit the original purpose of studios- collaborating and having projects with a certain theme
- If want to save your favourite projects, you can just favourite them, and it doesn't need to be private. If you want it to be private you can bookmark them
- If you want to make a good studio you can just write it in a note pad then paste it in when you create the studio
- Can close comments to prevent spam when making studio
- Studios are never finished

Ideas to improve:
- Remove the notification of “untitlled studio” in my activity
- Cancel button to prevent studios from getting accidentally created
- No curating / Allow curating but turn off comments and hide unshared projects
- Unshared projects are removed when the studio is shared or remove the ability to put in unshared projects
- Studio trash for deleted studios

In my opinion this seems like a good idea, but not something ST should prioritise. Also they should add folders in my stuff.
