A while ago, I decided I wanted to make my Titanic style game be multiplayer, just for fun. But am I allowed to share it?

You try to survive on the ship and at a certain time, you win.

I don’t think you should make a game about a tragedy..

that sunk like a century and 12 years ago (at the time of posting in my timezone)
that has “hundreds” of deaths
because of frozen wat- I mean a single iceberg

Instead of the ship sinking cause it hits an iceberg, it should sink cause a boiler explodes, blowing a hole in the ship.

You also shouldn't make it look like the Titanic.

The Titanic got hit in 1912, that was a long time ago so I doubt it would offend a vast amount of people, also because it is unrealistic it also sounds fine. As long as it isn't trying to make a joke out of the Titanic or shows death/gore it should be fine.

Yes… the so-called “unsinkable” ship that sank on it's first voyage…

I agree with @WallydogChoppychop, as long as you don't make a joke out of it and make it unrealistic you should be OK.

The Titanic actually had more than enough lifeboats for the regulations of the time- it's just that those regulations were fairly complicated and focused more on saving women and children (and civilians) than saving everyone. After the Titanic sank, the regulations around the world for lifeboats were short and simple- lifeboats for all.
