I just remembered one. It was a cgi animated show made around the late 2000's-2010's. It was about two kids who live in a cuckoo clock. inside of the clock was a town. There were other, non human characters that lived in the clock too.

hello yes I am looking for the current whereabouts of the “shy button” website, it's archived here but without the sounds or gif and I recreated it 3 years ago here but I couldn't find the sounds, the only reason I have the gif is because I asked about it on an old chat room that was on the site that probably can't be accessed anymore and someone answered, really the lost media is the sounds and the screen that the “I Give Up…” and the “You Did It!” buttons led to (which includes all the chatlogs from that chatroom and a link to a “world of text” I believe it was called)

I have Astrogon installed on my iPad under a technicality. While it still registers as a valid app, the binary has somehow been removed, so that means any attempt to extract it as a .ipa file won't work

That's weird… Can you still run the app?? I don't know how the extraction works other than it involves jailbreaking which I know very little about ;-;

If you have a Mac, what you can do is go on the app store and click on your account name in the bottom left. Then click “iPhone & iPad Apps” and you should be able to use iCloud to download apps you have on your other devices even if they aren't Mac compatible (occasionally developers will disable this option though, or if it's an older app that's been removed from the app store (which I assume this is) it's kind of just a toss up as to whether it'll show up or not as far as I can tell.) If the app shows up but doesn't have an iCloud icon on it, it means your device is too new and you need to find an older device to download it to.
Anyways, if you're able to download the app, you can just use “show package contents” to get at the files. I think it's the same stuff that would have been in the IPA file. (And a few mobile apps will actually run on desktop, too!)

If that method DOESN'T work for whatever reason, there is one other way to get IPA files without jailbreaking which is to just find an old iTunes backup, because iTunes used to back up entire apps even though it doesn't anymore.

Looking in app files is honestly fascinating though… So far I've found
- A game with the MIT license that Apple DRM'd anyway (edit: now TWO games)
- The developers' to-do list they forgot to remove lol
- Apparently, mobile games can (or could) be made with Flash?! (edit again: I'VE JUST FOUND ANOTHER FLASH MOBILE GAME COMPLETE WITH AN ACTUAL EDITABLE .FLA FILE CONTAINING THE SOURCE CODE- okay sorry i'm kind of derailing at this point don't mind me)

Nope, it just says “Unable to install ‘Astrogon’, this app is no longer available in the App Store.”
Anyway, I don't have a Mac but my mother does. And because I am under family sharing, that means that I could use that to get the app working again (also, by the way, I do have a jailbroken iPad )

I'm looking for the name of this kids toy which would come In different colors on the toy I think. the main piece of the toy was this thing that was shaped like a circle and then had this stapler looking thing on the other way the toy used these round clear plastic circles.that had gems attached to them cause sticky? And you would put them in The toy would come with 2 or one of those to buy more you'd have to buy one of packs of them other wise the entire toy is basically a overpriced probably Hasbro branded paperweight

I have the Suntrust app but when I try to open it, it says to keep it or delete it but does not open. I also have another completely deleted app on an old phone running iOS 14.4 that I found, it works though.

I remember seeing a movie on YT that was I think around 40 minutes long and was made in Toontastic 3D. It was about 4 friends, and one of them sent his 3 friends to a town filled with small toy figures that can movie move around and talk like normal people. I think it was called “Toontastic Figures Movie” or something else like that. But I can't find the movie anymore. It was made by IHEART2GAMING.

Hmm…. I'm guessing this isn't the same device you played the game (edit: realizing I don't actually know if it's a game or not lol) originally on? Same thing happened to me with some of my discontinued apps when I transferred data from my old iPhone 4S into a (slightly less old) iPhone 6. (This isn't my main phone, don't worry xD)
I think it's a compatibility issue since I can still run the apps on the 4S if the 4S feels like actually booting up in the current century, that is.
