It's entirely possible to do this, but the only problem is that it's against Scratch ToS for obvious reasons. If you want to create a chat app, use a whitelist with phrases such as: i'd like to have one, only for the purposes of making the legend called The Chat. the chat is something people have been trying to create for years but never succeeded that's why i think if we could get our hands on a number to letter translator AND a letter to number translator we could translate a word into numbers, then bring the numbers through a cloud variable and translate the numbers back into a word in someone else's screen in real time, and the only way to do that is with…
A letter to number translator and a number to letter translator. it could release an extreme power of full access to others. (not trying to be a bad guy here but it would be really cool).
1. Hello! And so on. You could then prompt the user to enter a number to chat the corresponding phrase. But allowing a free chat like you mentioned is, again, entirely against Scratch ToS. ╮( ̄~ ̄)╭
2. Hi!
3. Bye!
4. How are you?
5. Good.
6. I'm (username).

well if that's the case, then what is the comment section?
i know its for talking about the project but…
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/132333657/
this was the closest to a real chat (not the project itself, but the comments)

That would be well if that's the case, then what is the comment section? somewhat of a good idea, ignoring the fact that nobody would know if someone else commented unless their comment got replied to or the page is being refreshed 24/7.
